Young Authors' Code of Conduct
.) Members must treat each other with respect, and recognize their right to freedom of opinion and expression.
.) Please exhibit tolerance of race, gender, sexual orientation, culture, religion, etc. We recognize people have different views and are diverse, but please try to be open minded and respectful.
.) Recognize the Golden Rule. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Don't say anything here you wouldn't say in real life.
.) If a thread gets heated and is nearing flaming, step back and don't reply right away. Make sure you've got a level head when having discussions with other members.
.) Please keep on topic. Great discussions can lead to other great discussions ... in another thread, under another topic title. Feel free to create new topics to continue discussions.
.) Take charge with rule breaking. Staff can't be online and everywhere 24/7, so please, use the report button if you see something against the rules. We appreciate it.
.) We are very firm against hate speech. Yes, this is the internet, but that doesn't mean you can go spewing out racist, sexist, or homophobic remarks like there are no consequences. Quite a few remarks I've heard around the internet are offensive to me myself, in fact. You can receive an offense for this.
